Safslim Review and Giveaway

I've been busting my butt recently to lose some weight....I'll be going on a trip to South Carolina soon and I'm hoping to wear my summer dresses proudly...........and not only that, but I just really need to lose some weight and get in shape. I've only got this body right?? I need to treat it better (for me and for my family).

So, on top of a new exercise program (Curves, yay!!!) and substituting protein shakes for some meals, I have also been trying a new product called Safslim. The Safslim Belly Fat Solution combines a safflower oil liquid supplement (that you take 1 tablespoon of two times a day) as well as a reduced calorie diet and exercise routine.

Why Safflower Oil??

*A double blind study done by Ohio State University showed that overweight, post meno-pausal woman with high blood sugar lost an average of 6.3% belly fat over 16 weeks.
*The study also showed that safflower oil increased the belly fat hormone adiponectin 20.3%

Safslim comes in two great flavors, Berry Cream and Tangerine cream. I loved both flavors. You can add it to something if you like (yogurt) or you can just take it by the spoonful. I just took it by the spoonful.

I would say I've had great results!! I have definitely lost some inches around my waist and that is usually the *last* place the weight leaves my body when I start exercising.... so, I think I can credit Safslim for some of that!! Also, I like the taste and it's a really easy addition to a weight loss routine. I really think you guys ought to give it a try......

So, here's a chance to win 2 Bottles of Safslim and the book "Belly Fat Breakthrough: Smart Science for Transforming Your Body"

Giveaway Ends April 12th at Midnight, EST

Instant Trainer Leash Review

Guess who just had a birthday??

Buddy is a big 1 year old!!
You couldn't find a snugglier more lovable black lab puppy out there. We have been so happy with him. And he keeps our Boston Terrier, Chloe, on her toes.

Most of his training has gone really well. Labs are smart and very willing to please (especially for a treat). The one area that we struggle with is walking him and getting him to stay at our SIDE rather than pull us down the street. :-) So, I just got a chance to review the Instant Trainer to help keep him from pulling me all the way to the park.

Here is what is looks like:

Essentially, it links up to the collar like a regular leash and then wraps around the waist of the dog (going through a metal loop secured near his waist on the leash). When you pull on the leash you are giving him a tug around the waist, which isn't a very comfortable place to get tugged. Whenever your dog misbehaves, you give him a pull, and it should redirect his behavior.

I found that this leash makes it much less work to take my Buddy for a walk. He doesn't pull me around as much....though he still tries....but it is less work to get him back under control. I've found that if I make a sound or say a command at the same time as I pull on the leash, he responds even better....often i don't even need to pull!! So, I recommend this leash for training your dog to stay by your side and let you lead....because it is such an important part of your relationship with him to get him to understand that YOU are the lead dog of his pack.

Moving Here

Author: Joseph Sandoval
Moving here was the best decision I ever made because it forced me to really think outside the box and make something of myself. I’d been wanting to start my own business for years but I never had the push that made it happen so when I finally bit the bullet and opened the store I felt really good about where things were headed. Next year will be our second year in business and I’m happy about that – things are going well and I’ve been involved in every step of the way, from looking into Cockrell Hill Business Electricity Providers to hiring a graphic designer for the website to even painting the walls themselves! I’m just really happy things have worked out as well as they have and hope that it won’t take long for the rest of the community to jump on board. This is going to be a banner year for my company, I can feel it, and that’s what this was all about isn’t it? Who would have guessed I’d come this far.

On My Way To The Keys

Guest post written by Derick Burks
I made sure to drop all of my bills in the mail ( including my clear internet service) payment before we left on vacation. We are going to be gone for a whole two weeks. I have been waiting for this moment for the last several years. It really has been about three years since the last time that we went on a vacation. My husband’s job is pretty demanding. He hasn’t felt like he could leave and the business operate the way that it should for the last couple of years. Now, he feels like everyone is trained well enough that we could go on a family vacation. We are heading to Key West, Florida. I have never been to the Keys and my children haven’t either. My husband has been a couple of times fishing. He also has a friend who is letting us borrow their house and boat down there for the next two weeks. I know that it is going to be super fun and relaxing. I just can’t wait to be sitting at the edge of the water with a margarita in my hand and watching the waves! How relaxing!
