Cat Valentine

Are there any cute little kitties in your life that need a little extra love?? How about a Valentine for your wittle kitty??
I thought it might be fun to bring Danny a little dirt and grass inside during this cold winter weather. Here's Danny:
Here's the grass:

It's cat grass. Cuteness, right? Kitties are supposed to love this stuff and it helps them get rid of hairballs. Danny, as you noticed above, is awfully fuzzy. This means house-of-hairballs. So, I'm going to give him a Valentine that will warm his heart....and help me out in the process. Now hairballs, and the hacking up of hairballs......."That's Yuck" as my Munchkin would say.

I even made a little decoupaged plant pot with sheet music kitty paw prints and hearts.
The seeds sprout within a couple of days, so by Valentines Day is should be ready for him to munch on. Get started on yours now to have it ready in time!! Your cat will love you for it. Maybe. :-)

  7. How cute! What a great gift! I got my cat some grass once. I thought he'd love it because he always tries to eat our plants. Unfortunately, he didn't like it as much as the plants he's NOT supposed to eat! I got him a pink mouse this year : )

  10. That's a neat idea. I wonder if you can get cat-grass seed anywhere. I'd much rather decorate the pot myself and grow it than purchase it already grown :)
