Origami Abundance Hen

Don't forget to link up to my Marvelous Mess party......I'll be picking one project to feature on my sidebar for a week!!

Here's a really cute way to display your child's Easter candy:
It's a little Abundance hen I made thanks to help from the site called Origami Spirit. Here is the best part of this little hen:
Aw, yea. There is a pocket for all the candy. :-)
You've got to try this paper hen out. It's so sweet. Right up there with my Origami Spring Bunnies
in cuteness, wouldn't you say?? Okay, I'm biased.
Here it the video tutorial:
(Bear in mind that this lady does this paper folding at SUPER SPEED with NO WORDS. You are not going to appreciate the video very much. I didn't.....but I am thankful that she made it. I'm just not that happy with her. :-) Prepare yourself to pause. A lot.)

See what I mean? She's a tyrant. :-)

I shared this post at these funky parties!!

  2. My son ( who is in college now) went through an origami phase. He was pretty good - but nothing like these!

  4. That is too cute! What cardstock or paper do you recommend as I see this being ripped in t-minus 5 minutes with my boys. I like them for place holders to for Easter dinner!
