Sun and Moon Craft

Oh, I am SO in the mood for some sun!! When I saw this sun and moon set at goodwill I just had to nab it up. The sun in particular is just what I need right now. I am craving it. Lots and lots of sun. Weather people say that today might hit 60!!! With rain. :-( But, I'll tell you what, right now it's sunny and the sap is dripping from my sugar maples.
Here is the what the Sun and Moon looked like before I refinished them:

Not bad, right? But they needed a little pizazz. So, I got out the spray paint.....for the first color I chose Gold Metallic from Premium Decor. The sun stayed gold because I thought it looked fantastic that way. The moon couldn't be gold colored, or so my Munchkin tells me. I coated the moon with the gold and then I used a white crayon and drew some little crater circles on the surface of the moon for texture:
I didn't want no fancy shmancy smooth moon. :-) Then I sprayed it with Valspar Pink Pearl, just enough so that the gold was still present, but not really popping out:
Not too bad, eh? I like the way they turned out. Now, what to do with them?!?!
