New Weight Loss Goal

I've made a goal to lose some weight. I have been *struggling* to lose weight for a while now, with not a whole lot of success....mostly because I have a lot of binge eating tendencies and I don't get enough exercise. So, I'm doing Visalus shakes for a month and I've also joined a 90 Day Weight Loss Challenge with Creative Bioscience. I'll be taking a daily pill with a combination of raspberry ketones, green coffee bean, African mango, Green tea extract, lycee fruit, and vitamin c. It's call the 30 Day Diet (which I will be doing for 90 days).

I'll be keeping you updated on the Challenge and how it is working for me. Once the supplement arrives, I will give you some basic stats on my weight and that way we can see the results at the end of 90 Days!!

Are you a blogger?? If you are, and you're interested in trying to lose some weight you should join the 90 Day Weight Loss Challenge. They are looking for well maintained blogs who get visits of more than 250 per day.

Be sure to check out the site!!!!

  1. OH - I'm so excited to hear that your doing Visalus! So am I! I am starting tomorrow and I'm also starting the couch to 5k program. It teaches you to run a 5k in 9 weeks. I'm so excited to find someone else starting Visalus at the same time as me. I wish you the best of luck! Maybe we can keep in touch and motivate each other.

  2. I was so excited that I didn't read your whole post. I am a blogger and I get just over 250 visits a day. Who do I contact? Or what do I need to do?

  3. I have found with several clients that binge eat that they are either doing it for one of two reasons. One, they are stress eaters. Two, they are very sensitive to carbohydrates. When you eat carbs they are absorbed into the blood stream and insulin escorts them into the working cells or into fat storage. If you are too sensitive to carbohydrates then too much insulin is released. Its an over-reaction in the body and then you over-react with eating. I recommend eating protein with your carbs everytime when you eat carbs. Protein slows down the response and allows your internal reaction to be more balanced.

Experiment with yourself by eating 2 slices of white bread (200 cal)alone. Your next meal eat 1 slice whole wheat bread (100 cal)with 100 cal turkey. Make a note of how full you feel 15, 30, min after. Then how long did it take to be hungry for your next meal again.

You can also research "The Glycemic Index".

Let me know if I can help assist in any other ways.

    1. Hi Cyndi,
Thanks for the information. I am really interested in trying the white bread test and see how my body responds. :-) I am definitely a stress eater.... if you look at my "Who, Moi?" tab above you'll see that I have some pretty strong Obsessive Compulsive Disorder which comes with a lot of anxiety. I am really looking forward to trying your product!! Thanks for this opportunity!!
