The Best Way to Buy Expensive Wines Cheaply for a Party!

Here is Cyber Monday deal you should see!

There is an awesome website that sells gorgeous wines for incredible prices. It is called Last Bottle Wines and the owners are located in Napa Valley California and are the quintessential wine snobs with good connections to the wineries in the area. They get the best deals from around the world and then offer them on their site daily! Last Bottle Wines sell over a million dollars of discounted wine a month!!!

Today's offering is for a Napa Valley Cabernet call Big Vine. They says it's sweet and round with characters of blackberry vine and tobacco minerals.
Here is the price:
Wooo! What a deal!!! This would be a great way to get an delicious wine for your holiday party at half the price! Plus, they have free shipping for 6 bottles or more! Last Bottle Wines have been listed in the top 10 best places to buy wine online by Food and Wine.

There is a lot more about this site that is fun and will help you save money too:

~For every purchase you make you earn 2% credit
~If you actually do buy the very "Last Bottle" you are credited $25

Something that I have wondered about with shipping wine across the country is how a good temperature is maintained for the wine itself. Too much or too little temperature can ruin a good bottle. Last Bottle Wines are packed in styrofoam for protection against damages, and a 1% fee is available for insurance, though you may waive the fee and assume the responsibility. If you live in a warm weather climate, the warehouse may pack your wines with an ice pack, but even that may not protect against a truly hot spell, and in that case the warehouse may hold the wines for you until the best time is decided. The same goes for freezing temperatures! You can always email them if you need the wine by a specific date and the weather isn't working with you.

It's such a fun site. And, as a lover of wines myself, I am totally going to shop here!
I think you should go on over to Last Bottle Wines and see the wine of the day today. Who knows? Maybe your guests will be drinking it at your holiday party this year!

A Marvelous Mess!!

I hope all of you who celebrate Thanksgiving had a very happy one!
Mine was fun and busy though I had a bad ear infection that has lasted through the weekend.....so, that wasn't so cool. Losing the hearing in one ear has made me so much more understanding of the frustration those with hearing loss feel on a daily basis. I don't quite feel like I can participate in every conversation because I'm unsure of what everyone has said and of what I should say..... and especially I am unsure of how LOUD I am saying things. Luckily, I've been told that I'm whispering... which is a lot better than unintentionally shouting at everyone. :-)

Before the party starts, I've got a new tutorial for you:

Very simple glitter on the inside ornaments for your Christmas tree.
Here is what you need:
Clear ornament (plastic or glass will work, plastic is much safer)
Pledge Floor Finish
Glitter (fine is better)

~Take the top off the ornament

~Put some pledge finish inside it and swirl it around making sure to coat the entire inside. Empty the rest out.

~Quickly, pour some glitter inside the ornament and roll it around, covering the insider with glitter. Fine glitter coats better that thicker glitter as you can see:

But, they all look beautiful!
Just replace the cap and it should dry within minutes!

Icon Wall Stickers: Easy Decorations

I received compensation for this post. All opinions are my own and written in my own words. :-)

There is a school not far from where I live that has recently established a Residential dorm. Students from all over the world have been accepted at this school and now call this school home! When I was given the chance to review a product from Icon Wall Stickers I thought to myself.... my walls are full, but I bet I could find something the new dorm could use! And, I was right. See that world map on the wall behind the couch in the photo?

It's the same as this one, here:
Perfect for the dorm!

I did a lot of shopping at Icon Wall Stickers, trying to find just the right decoration for the dorm. There were plenty of options. If I had the room on my walls, I would have had a wonderful time shopping for wall stickers. Like these:
I couldn't resist this Boston!!!!!

Aren't good at taking care of plants? Well, just put some pretend ones around.

Or, how about something seasonal?

Any way you go about it, these stickers make decorating your walls very easy. And, it comes right off easily when you are ready for something different. I like the modern style of it and I love how simple it all is. You get a package in the mail with the sticker sandwiched between a piece of sticky vinyl and a piece of wax paper. You peel off the wax paper and gently set the sticker (still attached to the clear vinyl) onto the wall... I found placing the middle against the wall and pushing the rest to the wall working from the middle to the sides worked well. It can be a little bit of a process if there are lots of teeny pieces involved on the sticker... for instance, there are lots of small islands on a world map..... so it took a little more time that a different sticker might. Once the whole sticker is on the wall, gently pull away the clear vinyl; the sticker will stay on the wall!

I definitely recommend you shop at Icon Wall Stickers!
